You’ve been wearing your wig and you love it. You hear about rooting your wig or adding roots and are interested in trying it.
What are roots?
Roots are darker color added to the hair by the crown to mimic the look of what your hair looks like about two weeks after you’ve had it colored. It especially looks natural on a wig where the hair won’t grow. It’s another way that no one will guess that you’re wearing a wig.
Roots can be just a quarter inch long or they can be as long as a few inches. Adding dye to your wig is permanent. Maybe it’s not a look you want to wear daily or maybe you’re concerned that you might not like it and don’t want to commit to something so final.

This trick will cost just a few dollars, and it’s something you can do it yourself. If you don’t like it and it’s not your style, just wash it right out.
